Batteries

One of the most important components of a vaporizer is the battery that is used to power the unit. Electronic cigarette batteries come in a wide range of types, sizes, colors, features, and power outputs.  Vapor Authority offers a large selection of quality brand name vape batteries, such as Kanger, Joyetech, Innokin, Aspire, Vision, AW, MNKE, LG, Samsung, Sony, and Efest. Regardless of the ecig battery you are looking for, we are sure to have one that will suit your vaping needs.

What Does mAh Mean?: mAh stands for Ampere-Hour (Amp-Hour). It is basically a unit of electric charge, which is equal to the amount of charge offered by one Ampere within an hour of time. Essentially, mAh is the unit of measurement that we can use to determine how long a battery will last before needing a charge. The higher the mAh of a battery, the longer they will last, and in turn, the larger the battery will be in size.

Constant Voltage Batteries: Constant voltage electronic cigarette batteries are ones where the voltage output remains constant and cannot be adjusted. Ecig batteries, such as the Kanger Evod, Kanger eSmart, Aspire Sub-Ohm, and Aspire CF Passthrough, provide a constant voltage of output power that you cannot alter.

Variable Voltage Batteries: Variable voltage e-cigarette batteries are ones where the voltage output can be adjusted by the user. Batteries, such as the Joyetech eGo-C Twist, Aspire CF VV+, Kanger Evod VV Twist, Joyetech Ecom-C Twist, Innokin iTaste CLK, Vision Spinner 2, and the Innokin iTaste VV have the ability to adjust the amount of voltage the battery releases. This is beneficial, as it not only allows you to set the voltage based on your personal preference, but also based on the resistance of the atomizer coil being used.

Variable Wattage Batteries: Variable wattage ecig batteries, such as the Innokin iTaste VV battery allow you to adjust the wattage output of the device. Most variable wattage batteries also have the capability of adjusting the voltage as well as the wattage, depending on the mode it is set to.

Passthrough Batteries: Passthrough e-cig batteries afford you the ability to use the battery while it is being charged. In other words, when the battery has run out of power and needs to be recharged, you can vape while the recharge is occurring. This is a very convenient feature, as you will never be left without a functioning device so long as you are in a place that you can plug the charging cable into.

MOD Batteries: MOD batteries are rechargeable external batteries that are used to power regulated devices, such as box MODs. The most common size MOD battery is 18650, with most vaping devices currently on the market taking either one or two of them. Although the size may be equal, MOD batteries can differ greatly internally. They range in capacity, amps, and chemistry. Vapor Authority carries a fantastic selection of MOD batteries from trusted brands, such as Sony, Samsung, LG, AW, and Efest.
