In the rapid-growing and fast-paced world of electronic cigarettes, it seems as though each and every month there is a new direction that the manufacturers take in the creation of their new devices. What Are Bottom-Dual-Coil Clearomizers?

Bottom-Dual-Coil Clearomizers and Glassomizers work in essentially the same way as single-bottom-coil ones, with the obvious exception of the coil system. That is, a bottom-dual-coil device contains a tank, a drip tip, a base, and an atomizer coil. The difference is that dual-coil devices contain two atomizer coils rather than one. Don’t be mistaken, you won’t have two separate atomizers to replace. The atomizer heads are still one piece; however, they contain two coils within them rather than one. Pros of Bottom-Dual-Coil Clearomizers:

One of the primary benefits of dual-coil-clearomizers in general is the fact that they produce significantly more vapor relative to their single-coil counterparts. This is due to the fact that there are two independent coils heating the e-liquid, rather than one. This, in turn, will produce essentially double the amount of vapor than single-bottom-coil clearomizers. Since vapers are often seeking tanks that produce the most vapor possible, dual-coil clearomizers are a great choice.
Bottom-Dual-Coil clearomizers also tend to produce more robust flavor than other clearomizers. That is, they bring out the individual notes of the e-liquid being used better than most single-coil devices. Although some may argue that other single-coil tanks may produce better flavor, generally speaking, dual-coil devices certainly win in that department.

Cons of Bottom-Dual-Coil Clearomizers:

Like most things in life, there are always the negatives to weigh against the positives. Bottom-Dual-Coil clearomizers and Glassomizers do have certain downsides to them. First, they don't generally work well with constant voltage batteries, which mostly offer 3.6V – 3.8V of power. Depending on the device being used, the required voltage is usually higher for dual-coil clearomizers versus single-coil ones. This is because more power is required to heat the two coils than one. Therefore, it is wise to use dual-coil devices with variable voltage batteries, such as the Joyetech eGo-C Twist, the Kanger eVod VV Twist, and the Innokin iTaste VV battery.

Another negative aspect of Bottom-Dual-Coil clearomizers and Glassomizers is that they burn through substantially more e-liquid than single-coil devices. This seems obvious, as the thicker vape clouds necessarily means that more liquid is being consumed with each hit. It is a personal decision whether or not the elevated use of liquid is worth the increased vapor production. Some claim that it is not worth the money it costs to continuously fill the tank, while others would not even consider using single-coil clearomizers after trying dual-coil ones.
